The Fat Loss Secret by Dr Suzanne Gudakunst.
This is a diet plan promoted by Dr Suzanne Gudakunst and claims to reveal a “top secret” not only to losing weight but also to living a healthier, longer life. Very little detail is given about the nature of the “secret” and we have struggled to find any concrete information. There’s not much to be found out about Suzanne Gudakunst but we have found reference to a former licensed chiropractor by that name in the US. We’ve also been unable to verify that the photographs of the person featured on the website are actually of Gudakunst as there’s very little information out there considering the name is relatively unusual. These are all issues that caused us to be a little concerned about the nature of this diet program. (You might want to skip straight to some reviews.)
The website for this plan is written in a very confusing way, and relies heavily on marketing phrases and although it uses medical photos to illustrate various problems it doesn’t mention any medical or scientific reasons why the plan might work.
There are quite a few rather gruesome images used on the site of intestinal parasites and other bowel conditions, and the majority of the text is rather emotive and even mentions death and serious illness in a way that we didn’t like at all. There’s also not even a hint of what the “Secret” might be until you have paid for the plan.
A lot of what’s written seems to hint at bowel health and eliminating gut parasites as being important, but it’s not quite clear why this is so, and how this might be linked to weight loss.
What you Get
If you do go ahead and buy this plan hoping it will help with weight loss or fitness then we’re afraid you are going to be very disappointed.
You’ll receive an ebook that begins by explaining why this is the best weight-loss ebook you can buy. There’s then a very generic chapter which gives some tips on how to choose a good weight loss program, followed by another that gives you some very basic weight loss tips and simple advice about how to change eating habits. There’s nothing remotely innovative here.
The next section gets to grips with Dr Suzanne’s obsession with the bowel and colon, as witnessed by her website. After talking about parasites and toxins, you get some very generic advice on “cleansing” which seems to revolve around laxatives – in particular Dr Suzanne’s own-brand products.
The final section is for weight maintenance. Again this doesn’t contain anything new or original and seems to consist mainly of foods to avoid and good habits to get into. We couldn’t see anything in here that would actively assist anyone in maintaining a target weight once they had reached it.
If you order the “Hardcore Elite” Version of the plan you will get an additional bonus section, but once again this is simply generic weight loss and exercise information that can be found elsewhere at no cost.
We can’t think of any.
- 38 pages of generic weight loss and healthy eating advice;
- Confusing writing style and structure;
- No unique or novel content;
- We can’t verify the author.
Feedback & Overview
Actual Customer Feedback:
“On top of the shallow content, the program isn’t organized very well. The topics don’t exhibit any sort of cohesive flow or any specific procedure to follow. It just feels like the program is exploding all over the place.”
Portion of actual user comment on weightrater.com
Summary: We really can’t recommend this at all. The website uses very emotive language to convince people to try this plan in a way that we don’t like. There’s absolutely nothing that we could find in this slim ebook that was new or original. All the advice is common sense and available for free elsewhere. Whilst we won’t go as far as to say this is a scam, we can say that it represents very poor value for money. Avoid and consider other more worthy diet products instead.
